Live in Japan: Houses in GaijinPot Apartments

January 26th, 2011By Category: Uncategorized

For those looking to find a place to stay in Japan, GaijinPot Apartments, together with its sister site RealEstate.co.jp, offer one of the widest selections of properties available to foreign movers (RealEstate.co.jp also offers properties for sale).

Information about the process of moving, fees and other things to keep in mind can be found in the ‘Live’ section of the blogs, but for today we are going to highlight houses (rather than apartments) that are available in the market.

Houses offer one way to escape from some of the limitations that are imposed when renting an apartment. For example, it is more likely that pets will be allowed, there are less restrictions in terms of noise control and as there is fresh air between you and your nearest neighbor, more privacy. Many houses also include parking space, a garden or roof balcony for things like BBQs etc.

Here is the taster; find more after the jump.
