Quality Shared Living in Tokyo with an American Twist

August 17th, 2011By Category: Uncategorized

With locations all over Tokyo, All Estate is proud to present their newest location; Share Residence Ueno no Mori, which means “The Forest of Ueno” in Japanese.

Built with the finest materials, Share Residence Ueno no Mori offers high quality living quarters for very reasonable rents.  In addition to being fully funished as seen below, the rooms themselves are spacious in not only length and width but also in height as well.

Floor to ceiling height in every room is 3 metres.  Why is this important?  High ceilings allow for a more spacious feel when walking throughout the usable floor space.  The rooms in Share House Ueno no Mori have large rooms all ready but the inclusion of 3 metre high ceilings makes it all the more spacious.

The common areas are outfitted with the latest in appliances, furniture and cookery. The island built in the centre gives residents the ability to cook together or simply enjoy a drink in the evening after a day of recreation in Ueno’s many attractions.

Other common areas of interest are bathrooms, shower rooms and laundry rooms.  All have been installed using the latest in materials to maintain a high quality of standard when it comes to cleanliness.

A first in Tokyo, Share House Ueno no Mori offers not only high quality rooms but also a brand new American style camping trailer by Airstream!  Manufactured in Jackson Center, Ohio, Airstream only produces 500 of these trailers a year and sells them at a premium.  Designed to offer spacious living while not impeding on the surrounding area where parked, the newly introduced camping car all ready has a long waiting list.  Not to worry though, residents who are contracted in Share House Ueno no Mori receive priority treatment when wishing to rent out the trailer!

Located in  Tokyo’s “Joutou” (“upper east side” in Japanese), Share House Ueno no Mori enjoys the rapid development around the area thanks to urban revitalization and the construction of the Tokyo Sky Tree.

Part of the area that isn’t being revitalized is nearby Ueno Park, which has always been a draw for both Japanese and foreign people alike.  At 530,000 sqaure meters, the park is one of the largest in Tokyo and is within walking distance to Share House Ueno no Mori.  Within Ueno Park, you can experience many of Tokyo’s rich cultural offerings such as the Tokyo National Museum, the National Western Art Museum and Ueno Zoo.

Another big feature with Ueno Park is the sheer amount of Sakura (Cherry Blossom) trees the park has.  Spring is the best time to view these trees as they are pink only for a few days when they bloom.  “Shinobazuno-ike” is a nearby pond that is covered in floating lotus flowers and, in the winter, many birds flying south stop to refresh themselves at the pond.

Access is king at Share House Ueno no Mori as the closest transportation gateway is Ueno station.  Ueno station provides not only convenient access to the rest of the Tokyo metropolitan area but also to the Tohoku and Niigata regions too.  Also, Ueno is the terminal stop for several rapid express trains operating direct to and from Narita Airport making Ueno station an ideal and accessible location for anyone.
