Nearby the building is Hanakoganei park which is famous for it’s abundant Sakura (cherry blossom) trees. Every spring the sakura trees bloom and it is tradition in Japan to have a sakura tree blooming event called “Hanami” in Japanese. When Hanami season comes in the spring, residents in the building will always be invited to a yearly party produced by Social Apartments.
