Sakura House: Tokyo Share House, Apartment & Dormitories

September 4th, 2012By Category: Uncategorized

September is here and with it comes the beginning of internships and university years. This can be a very exciting but also stressful time. If you’re a student or intern who is looking to move to Tokyo, Sakura House knows it can be a daunting task to find accommodation which is why they are dedicated to providing a selection of properties at very reasonable costs for you to get into and hit the ground running in this huge city!

Sakura House’s staff waiting to serve you!

Sakura House has been assisting foreign people with housing solutions since 1992. They realized that going through traditional real estate agents can be a very challenging experience so they took the opportunity to simplify the process. With them there are no shady fees to worry about, no need for a guarantor and you can secure your location with them ONLINE even prior to arriving in Japan.

One other thing; Sakura House only requires a JPY 30,000 deposit instead of the two month’s rent fees required with most Japanese real estate agents. Moving to another country is a difficult task so why not take a load off your mind and secure your housing even before arriving?

Snap shot of satisfied tenants!

Since inception, Sakura House has grown to over 1,600 rooms to choose from in both the Tokyo metro and suburban areas ranging from shared accommodations to private apartments in all different kinds of shapes, sizes and flavors.

Furthermore, your complete satisfaction is their mission, so for those moving to the Tokyo area and are hesitant to committing to a contract before arriving to Japan, they are more than happy to show you the apartment prior to you making a final commitment.

Clean, convenient and comfortable!

Here’s how it works; Sakura House has everything ready for you when you come to Japan. When you arrive, you stop by their offices for a quick signing of the contract, payment of the deposit and first month’s rent, they give you your keys and you will then be able to move in as soon as you arrive at your location. Your space, be it shared or a private apartment, is all ready equipped with the basics like a bed with linens, desk, chair, bookshelf etc. They’ve striven hard to set it up so all you have to do is drop your suitcases and you’re at home!

To make it even simpler, they take the hassle of contracting your utilities (gas/water/electric) off your hands by including it in your monthly rent. For those who are unable to communicate in Japanese, this is one of the many things they do to help you get settled and comfortable!

The folks at Sakura House are truly multilingual in the following languages; English, Japanese, Korean, French, Spanish, Chinese, and Russian. This isn’t just on their website but face to face or over the phone as well. If you’re looking to eliminate the sense of gambling when it comes to your living arrangements before you arrive, Sakura House has your answer.

The staff is horrid.. they might bully/intimidate you. Mold in apartments (they will blame you). They will lie when your rent is due. Staff will enter without permission.
