Surviving in Japan

Moving to a new country and living an expat life can be one of the most rewarding and frustrating experiences, sometimes at the same time! The thrill of experiencing something new and exotic can be quickly replaced with the frustration of struggling to accomplish even the most basic of tasks.

My guest today is Ashley Thompson who runs the website Surviving in Japan…without much Japanese. On her website she offers all sorts of valuable tips and how to articles on setting up your new life in Japan. She recently had her first child and joins me to talk about her experience in giving birth in Japan.
