Japanese Language Cafe

January 12th, 2011By Category: Uncategorized

Finally, a place to practice Japanese speaking in a casual and relaxed atmosphere where making a mistake does not cause problems.

The aim of the Japanese Language Cafe by the Iidabashi Language School is to offer a relaxed, laid-back setting for folks seeking an informal way of practicing their Japanese skills without the worry of putting their foot in it.

The cafe has just opened right beside JR Iidabashi station on the Chuo, Oedo, Tozai and Namboku lines and is only around 10 minutes from centers such as Shinjuku, Ikebukero and Akihabara.

It is aimed at all levels, from upper beginner to intermediate through to advanced speakers, who want to develop their skills along their own lines as well as brush up on a number of specific topics. All classes are taught by a friendly group of teachers who will be adaptable to your level and needs.

Develop your skills

While you are talking to Japanese people in Japanese, do you ever find it hard to follow the conversation? Or you can easily miss the timing even if you have something to say — your opinion or a great joke! If you have ever had this experience, try studying at a cafe-style conversation class.

A teacher is always there, giving you the vocabulary you need, or helping you to say what you want to say. This is one of the easiest ways to make sure your Japanese communication skills improve day-to-day.

Some of the recent topics that have been covered include things like the ‘kanji that best represents your goals for 2011′ and ‘what’s with Japanese dogs that ride in baby cars?’ That, though, is only the tip of the iceberg. There is plenty more being brought up and discussed all the time.
