Caretta Shiodome is holding its annual winter illumination event “Caretta illumination 2011 Blue Forest” until Jan 9. About 250,000 LEDs light up 3D trees in a blaze of blue.
Every 30 minutes, the illumination performance is accompanied by music from renowned violinist Chisako Takashima and 12 other violinists.
Blue Forest is lit up from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. until Dec 21, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Dec 22-25, and from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. from Dec 26 to Jan 9.
