McDonald’s Japan this week launched a home delivery service on a six-month trial basis from one outlet in Tokyo’s Setagaya Ward. The outlet is the McDonald’s near the Tomei Expressway’s Yoga Exit.
A McDonald’s Japan spokesperson said the trial is aimed at elderly consumers and children. He said the company is planning to expand the trial service to 10 other branches through next May.
The delivery service has two conditions. The minimum order is 1,500 yen and the place for delivery has to be within 10 minutes of the McDonald’s outlet by motorbike. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., but the McDonald’s spokesperson said the company is considering keeping some stores open for 24 hours.
To place an order, call 0570014355.

I enjoy reading about this kind of thing. This is completely new to me, but once I get my head around the many new terms, I find its illuminating things I’ve previously half-thought.
Mc Donald’s all over Manila, Philippines are offering home delivery and in most places its available for 24 hours. I honestly thought it was a common thing for fast food restaurants around Asia but I guess I was wrong.
