The end of summer

The swift Japanese change of seasons always leaves me rather surprised and clutching at my autumn coats. I’m a summer kid, so I always feel a pang of sadness as the days grow shorter. Below are some photos taken around Japan, from Sado Island to Nara and Kyoto, enjoying the last few days of summer.
