Conveyor Belt Sushi – also known as Kaiten Sushi is a popular style of sushi restaurant in Japan. Typically the sushi chef will stand in the middle of the restaurant and fill the orders of the customers as they call them out.
This particular restaurant chain, called Kaisen Misakiko has taken the ordering concept high tech with their touch screen menu system. Available in a variety of languages, the customer places their order through the computer and a few minutes later your sushi arrives right at your table!

The mom and pop sushi restaurants are usually the best! Great place to eat and practise Japanese as well.
I love this small little mom and pop shop in Fussa-shi called Sushi Santa. All the Americans and Japanese people from the area go there!!
