November 28th, 2011By Category: Arts & Entertainment

GaijinPot goes to Harajuku to see the latest trends.

Our 1st fashionable girl is Yuko-san. Her fashion point is “Blue” and her recommended spot for foreigners is the popular fashion mall Laforet Harajuku, where she works.

Yuko likes the five finger socks which are shown below. She says they are popular among foreign shoppers.

Our next fashionable girls are from the Kansai area.

They recommend Horie and Umeda in Osaka and Kawara town in Kyoto. Their favorite brands are Jewel, Gallerie and Uniqlo (which has heat-tech clothes). They also want to know what foreigners in Japan recommend as their favorite styles.
