Create your own origami work of art

You can learn how to make a box, animal or flower from one piece of origami in this class. These ladies in the photo below made dogs.

The fee is 4,500 yen for one class at Urawa in Saitama Prefecture. (1 minute walk from Urawa Station East exit)

The class times are 11:00 ~12:30 and 13:00 ~ 14:30 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

 Ninja experience: Learn the three basic techniques

Many people probably think that ninja is one of the coolest things you can be in Japan. The ongoing Japanese manga series “Naruto” has certainly made ninja popular.

Here, you get to wear a ninja costume and practice three types of ninja weapons.

The fee is 12,000 yen for one class at Tabata (JR Tabata Station North exit).

The class times are 15:00 ~ 16:30 on Saturday and Sunday, 20:00 ~ 21:30 on Sunday and Monday.

 Haunted Tour: Blood of Samurai

This tour will no doubt appeal to those who like horror and bizarre tales.

The tour will take you places which have a secret scary history such as the haunt of the angry spirits of the 47 Ronin in Tokyo.

The fee is 3,000 yen for one tour.

The tour starts at 13:00 and is usually held once a week in the Tokyo area.
