Earlier this week, we published “Christmas songs that originated in Japan – Part 1“? We hope you liked some of the songs in the article.

Here are some other Christmas pop songs that originated in Japan, such as B’z, Petit moni (which is a spinoff group of Morning Musume), BoA and SMAP.

“Itsuka no Merry Christmas” (Someday Merry Christmas), sung by B’z

“Pittari Shitai X’mas!” (I want a perfect Xmas!), sung by Petit moni

Meri Chri” (short for Merry Christmas), sung by BoA

 “Christmas Night,” sung by SMAP

This was the B-side of SMAP’s 41st single “Dangan Fighter.”

Hear anything you like. In the next part, we will introduce songs for not only Christmas but also for winter time.
