Tokyo Sky Tree might be getting most of the attention ahead of its May 22 opening, but don’t forget Tokyo Tower. It is once again holding its seasonal lighting event, “Tokyo Warm Light,” until March 31.

This event features warm orange illumination inside the observation deck 150 meters above the ground. There are 26,000 LED lights used for the floor and also a 2 meter-high heart art object called “Tokyo Warm Heart.”

At Tokyo Tower, LED candles associated with this event are on sale. There are only 333 candles available because they were hand-made by a traditional craftsman in Tokyo. All proceeds from sales of the candles will be donated to the tsunami-hit city of Ofuna in Iwate Prefecture, which has a friendship agreement with Tokyo.

“Tokyo Warm Light” is held in every 30 minutes between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m.
