Snowing in Spring

Sakura season seems to have only begun in Tokyo but last weekend was probably the last time to see them in full bloom before the strong Spring wind and rain sweeps them away.

Even though the events of March 11 has cast a gloom over the festivities and with the government urging constraints on celebrations, it was good to see crowds of people still enjoying this beautiful time of year in contrast to the sombre moods of the past month.
