UNIQLO collaborates with artists for Hello Kitty T-shirts

UNIQLO will release its new Hello Kitty T-shirts in 11 countries and cities at the beginning of March. The T-shirts are designed by a variety of artists, and feature girly pink colors and pop American design.

“The Hello Kitty Graphic T” features 10 designs for girls (1,500 yen) and 9 designs for kids (990 yen). The collaborating designers are cookkieboy ( Takehiro Natsuyama), Yuko Higuchi, Akira Ebihara, Chintz Whiggish, Sachiko Mastoid (Vida=Feliz), Yuko Kana, marini*monotony, Seri★Norika, Utako Yamada, and Toko Omori.

Part of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Hellosmile project, which encourages the prevention of cervical cancer.
