World-famous Japanese RPG (role-playing video game) Final Fantasy will celebrate its 25th anniversary this year. Production company Square Enix is planning to release Final Fantasy 25th anniversary cards (1,260 yen) and tumblers (1,995 yen) in the spring.
The set of 54 cards features different designs on each card. The clubs have FF characters designed by Yoshitaka Amano; the hearts have FFVII characters designed by Tetsuya Nomura; the diamonds feature characters from FF IV・FF V; and successive logos of the titles are on the spades.
The two jokers feature the main antagonists of the game, Gilgamesh and Kefka Palazzo. The fantastic and artistic touch of Amano is sure to attract game fans.
On the tumblers are mascot character Mogli, and others like Chocobo, Cloud, Lighting, and Sephiloth.
The tumblers will be sold at the end of March and the cards in mid-April. You can pre-order at the SQUARE ENIX ONLINE SHOP.
