TOKYO TRANSPORT PASS for overseas visitors

The Japan Tourism Agency is promoting the TOKYO TRANSPORT PASS to enable foreign people to travel on Tokyo’s complex rail system without hassle.

TOKYO TRANSPORT PASS is available at JR EAST VIEW Travel Service Center at Narita and Haneda airports for a limited period. Only foreign people who are visiting Japan can purchase the pass which costs 2,500 yen for 2 days of unlimited travel (1,250 yen for children) and 3,000 yen for 3 days for adults (1,500 yen for children).

Lines on which TOKYO TRANSPORT PASS can be used are JR, Tokyo Metro, Toei Subway, Toei Streetcar (Toden) Arakawa Line, Nippori-Toei Liner and Toei Bus.

The pass can be used up until Jan 31 and buyers will also receive a Visit Japan Card, which brings various privileges.
