Beady Eye – Liam Gallagher’s new band comes to Japan

After the breakup of 90’s mega-band and the front-runners of britpop, Oasis, in 2009 due to irreconcilable differences between the Gallagher brothers, Liam Gallagher and two other Oasis bandmates formed Beady Eye.

The band’s first two songs were released into the public domain and you get a taster after the jump. However, fans of Oasis and those looking for a good rock gig will be more interested in their just announced, first-ever first Japan tour.

The band’s debut album ‘Different Gear, Still Speeding’ will be released in Japan on February 23rd through Beady Eye Records / Sony Music Japan .   The band is set to play the below dates.

Friday 6th May

You need to complete the registration (in Japanese) and, if you are successful, take the reference number you are given to a Loppi or Lawson to make payment.  Tickets go on sale at 10am Saturday 19th February.
