Hey everyoneone It’s me again, Akie, your sweet summertime sweetie coming to you from way up north here in beautiful Akita! Wow, this is my 50th blog entry I’m sharing with you today! I hope you are enjoying them as much as I enjoy bringing them, and Akita, to you! As you can see in the photo of Senshu Park behind me, I’m not the only one in full bloom. We have been waiting for this time of year to roll around again for a long spell now.

Finally, the signs of sweet summer life are all around us again  here in Akita. I can’t think of a better place to be than right here in my hometown this time of year. The weather is finally warming up and me and the other bijins are getting ready to dress the part…. so to speak…. hehehehe! I mean, I love the feel of sunlight on my skin and here in Akita, where the intensity isn’t tooooooo strong, it is sooooo goood! But, like I mentioned before in my earlier blogs, taking precautions to protect your skin is always the wisest choice.

The rainy season is just around the corner for us too , but we don’t mind as it brings out more beautiful flowers in bloom.

The fruits of the season are all so juicy and delicious, the greens are as green as they can be, warm weather is brightening our spirits, and all seems so good right now. I hope that wherever you are, you can feel great too!

Well, I’m off to unpack my summer wardrobe. I sure hope my bikini still fits from last year. I think I was hibernating a little too much this winter and indulging too much in the sweet life….yummy! I guess I had better get myself back into shape if I’m going to be parading around in my summer outfits for you on blogs to come. We’ll have some fun together all summer and into the fall and beyond. I’m looking forward to sharing my next 50 blogs with you! Take care and I love you all!
