KDDI’s au is going to release a new smartphone called “Arrows Z” in mid-December and “Arrows EZ” early in January.

The “Arrows Z” contains a 1.2 GHz dual core processor and offers high-speed Internet access through its WiMax. It features a 4.3-inch,  full-color HD display, handwritten input function, it’s waterproof, and has a high quality 13.10-megapixel camera.

The “Arrows EZ” is 6.7mm thin and waterproof.

Actor Haruma Miura appears in commercials for the “Arrows” series. Miura said that he listens to music on his smartphone while he’s taking a bath, so the waterproof function is very convenient.

He said that he can see Mt Fuji from his apartment, so he hopes to take some nice photos with his “Arrows Z.”

The new “Arrows” series commercials will be aired from mid-December.

 “Arrows Z” comes in four colors: Fine White, Stream Blue, Live Pink and Neo Black.
