Marunouchi

Sitting in-between Tokyo Station and the Imperial Palace, Marunouchi is the financial center of Japan and where you would go to find the headquarters of businesses such as Mitsubishi, Hitachi, Bloomberg, Citigroup and RBS.  This video was shot over the recent holiday season and shows you also plenty of nice, small places to visit as well (plus many of the lights are still up).

It’s also a great place to take a Valentine’s date in Tokyo!

Valentine’s day in Japan is all about the chocolate. But taking your date out can be expected too. Marunouchi has a very different atmosphere to the other night-spots such as those in Shibuya or Shinjuku. Could it be because the imperial lend a more historic atmosphere?
